Our practical systems help you manage risk effectively, display more items with confidence, and remain compliant with regulatory requirements while preserving the historical significance of your collections. With Kadec Asbestos Management, you gain reassurance, expert guidance, and proven tools tailored to the needs of museums, objects and heritage.

Online PaRac Assessment Form

Before proceeding with any object task for historic collections the following questionnaire should be completed to determine whether the object is likely to contain asbestos. Many household and industrial objects contain hazards intrinsic to their original function, such as asbestos for heat shielding and fire prevention. The examples given are likely sources of Asbestos Containing Material (ACMs), but are not exhaustive. If there is any doubt whatsoever, it must be assumed the object contains asbestos and an asbestos inspection should be completed.

I have been using Kadec for over 10 years now, and they are super reactive, getting reports together when problems arise on site that need urgent attention. Kevin is very knowledgeable and friendly along with the rest of the extremely efficient Kadec team. I wouldn’t use anyone else.

Thank you for the excellent training. I think it is the best training I have received while working in the Museum sector – I’d highly recommend it!.
